School is out...Mom and Dad are home...It's officially summer time!

We have been so incredibly blessed to have Miss Jacque be our in-home nanny! She has been such a gift to our children and we could never repay her for the love and care she has been so generous in giving them. Thank you J! The Morin Family loves you.
This little sunshine lights up our world each and every day. Ellie has such a gentle and fun-loving spirit that everyone falls in love with her...

...BUT she can still rock out the stinker face!

Our first summer project together now that mom is a stay at home mom for the summer! We learned the letter A! After the gluing of the noodles we went on a scavenger hunt around the house with our camera looking for the letter A. When we found one Luke took a pic of it!
Ellie sure is getting comfortable standing! She is still needing to hold onto something but she is almost there...

Washed, jammies on, and story time.

Luke's first soccer season! And Ben's first soccer season as his son's coach! Luke loved going out each week to play. The teams played at Oakland University each Saturday morning and Luke enjoyed having Dylan and Ayrton on his team however, I think Luke's favorite part was snack time at the end. It was hard for him to understand when we would yell, " Luke, take the ball!" He would come over and say, " But Mommy it's not my turn." Seriously?! It drove us nuts but at the same time we cherished his gentle, sharing spirit. :)
Luke felt confident when he could practice shooting all by himself!

At the last game all of the parents lined up to form a tunnel to cheer on the players before their last game. Luke was totally digging this.
Best coach!
Best Buds!
 Best supporter!

And the Spring 2013 season comes to a close... good job boys!

2013 Spring Team shot
Do you think Luke liked the trophy much?
Later that week the kids and I went off to Grand Rapids to visit my bestie and her 2 kids! We love having the Brangs back from North Carolina!
Grand Rapids has the coolest kid's museum where Luke and Carson loved playing in the construction pit, fishing in the pond, the human bubble etc...
Elle crawled around just as happy as can be!
