Happy Halloween 2014!

Thursday Night...The Morin Family is kicking off the Halloween celebration with carving pumpkins!
Elle being apart of the action. :)
This was the first year where Luke almost carved the entire pumpkin himself and was loving it!

Yup, so they even carve alike...

The finished products...
Rise and Shine...Happy Halloween! A quick pic early in the morning before heading off to preschool for the day!
Luke celebrated by trick-or-treating at the OPC (Old Person's Commission) and Ellie's class celebrated with a pinata outside!
We quickly came home and dug out snow pants, waterproof jackets, snow boots, mittens, hats for the whole family! We had a very poofy owl and Ninja Turtle on our hands but we were just thankful the costumes fit over the winter gear!
Off to Tony and Tammy's for our Halloween party! We were there with their family, Janet and Seth with their 3 kiddos and our other neighbors, Greg and Beth and their 2 kiddos, who live behind us. The food tasted so yummy and it was great to hang out with everyone! (Unfortunately no pics...we were all too busy!)
Janet and Seth took a picture of us on the way to our last house of trick-or-treating (Almost lasting the full 2 hours!)! The kids were so great and not one word about being cold!! Elle would run as fast as her chunky, poofy, snowpants legs would let her saying as loud as she could, " Trick-or-treat!" She tried so hard to go as fast as Luke but she was so slow with all of her gear...She was absolutely precious! About halfway through she ended in the stroller but she was a happy trooper. Luke on the other hand, although just as poofy, bolted from house to house. Little sweetie would stop every few houses to wait for his baby sister. :) Ben and I laughed so hard because he started with " Trick-or-treat," then moved onto, " Turtle Power!" and when an older lady wasn't for sure how to respond to him he walked back to us saying, " Maybe I should say both. Start with trick-or-treat and then say Turtle Power!" And that's just what he did the rest of the time. We were rolling!
After a nice, warm bath the kiddos (Well, Luke) organized his candy. This year Snickers won out!
Watching a show before before bed as a special treat to get in some extra cuddles and snuggles.
Ellie bean climbed in with Luke to cuddle...Fast asleep. What a great day!
Morning after...Let's make Jacque pancakes and color them!
Pretty proud of himself!
Elle was busy putting her bears to sleep. Here she told me, " Mama, I'm rubbing their backs."
And later...I had 2 little pumpkins left over from my third graders' party so voila, our last Halloween project for the year!

Happy Halloween, everyone!!!
