The last days of the school year...Let summer begin!

Drew is getting so deliciously chunky and chubby I can hardly handle it! His whole body just smiles with excitement but he is still holding on to the squished body pose when you pick him up when he is waking up. The stage of 4 months...one of my absolute favorites. He laughs easily and when he gets going, his little giggle makes him laugh even harder. He is by far the most ticklish out of the three at this stage. Anywhere will result in a giggle fit. :) He is shoving everything into his mouth, can roll over from his back to his belly, loves to play with his toys, the bird on his exersaucer drives him nuts because he so badly wants to put it in his mouth but he can't yet, can sit by himself for about 10 seconds, loves when he "stands" up, tries to sing along with you, and he found his cute little piggies. He is the only one, who in his bouncy seat can, successfully pull all 3 rings hanging from the toys whenever he wants. He uses his feet to push the rings close enough so that he can grab them with his hand. He is in the pull your shirt, earring, hair, whatever stage! Tonight Drew was in the middle of the other 2 while watching a show. Drew kept on turning side to side pulling Luke and Ellie's hair. The other 2 kept complaining about getting their hair pulled so I had to separate them.

Enjoying the kickoff to summer 2015...Memorial Day!

Luke was the fearless prince slaying the terrible dragons to keep his sister safe. Elle is up on her throne with her sword.
Prince Luke to the rescue.
Elle giving more directions to Luke on how to save her...
So there he goes...
Uh-oh, another dragon!
I'm zooming the camera from the screen door and Elle stops to give me a smile. Such a little princess!
Inside I get to hang out with Drew who is now loving his exersaucer! AND I love it too! I'm praying that we stay in this stage for a long time before I have a mobile baby on my hands. :)
Happy Memorial Day!
First picnic lunch of the season!
Ending the day with a show and some snuggles.

Luke graduates from PRESCHOOL!!!! We have absolutely LOVED NC3, where both Luke and Elle attend preschool. We tried to not make this day a very big deal because we didn't want Luke feeling sad about it being his last day. But I tell ya, he is so excited about kindergarten. They have done a great job in transitioning these kids onto the next phase of their school. Love them and we are so excited for Luke!

Luke with his Miss Joe...

We are so proud of you Luke! You are such a caring friend to everyone around you. We love you! Bu

Luke, the graduate!

And for me, I ended 11 years of teaching in the same third grade classroom! Ben and the kiddos surprised me with flowers that were delivered to me during the last hour I had my students in the classroom. Tears began to drip as I read the card. I feel beyond blessed to have the opportunity to take care and raise my own children each and everyday for the next couple of year but 11 years is a long time. A third of my life I have work with those children, their families, and my staff. It had become a home away from home. On to the next chapter of our life as a family...
