Drew, You are pure love. You love to snuggle and melt into any position on anyone's lap. You even will start rocking back and forth once you are snuggled in. You are a peacemaker and would rather have everyone happy then worried about who's right and who's wrong. You are patient with everyone around you and if I'm frustrated you say something like, "Mom, he just made a mistake." This melts our hearts and you remind us that having perspective is important.
You are a great friend! At your last playdate when I dopped you off, Steven had made posters that said, " Steven and Drew day!" and he hung them on their front door and around their house.
Drew, you are SO funny! You get when something as intonation and you will mimic it back to us. You quote funny parts in movies! I will never forget when you were like 4 or 5 and I had paid the cashier at the checkout. You looked at her and said. " Keep the change you filthy animal." (Home Alone) Thank goodness she found you as hilarious as we do!
You LOVE to play sports and your competitiveness definitely pours out on the court/field. You are a baller and a few weeks ago you said to me, " Mom. There is just something about waking up early on a Saturday morning to go play basketball."
Stew Bear, We love you so, so much and we wish you the happiest birthday yet!! Eight is Great!

Celebrating Drew with his best buddies! (left to right) Steven, Max, Sylvan, Ronan, Drew, Wyatt and Caleb.
When you tell a group of 8 year old boys to get together to take a pic...

After this Luke jumped in! LOVE our Luke so much! He took over and organized and played the rest of the party with the boys. Thank you, Luke! You are the BEST big bro and you really helped your Mama out.

Happy Birthday, Drew!

We all had so much fun partying up with Drew's crew Friday night and in the morning Luke and Harlow made pancakes for all of us!
Gavin fell asleep with me. OMG. I love hims!

Cousins to the park...No car seats, everyone on the floor for this short drive!

Reading the news with Uncle Ben.

Aunt Cathy comes to celebrate Drew's birthday!

Aunt Cathy brought party bags for all the kids, gifts for Drew, and homemade meatloaf, mac and cheese, party potatoes, salad and candy for all of us. I mean, does she know me or what?!?!

Gavin LOVED Aunt Cathy's cooking!

Bathing suits and bubbles were up next. Harlow was unsure of the jets at first, but was all in once the bubble beards came out in full force.

Ready for some street hockey! Thank you Uncle Tom and Aunt Cathy!

Church with this crew! Everyone went to their own classrooms and did great!
Taking Harlow to her soccer practice at OU.

We are so grateful for family. 💕
Celebrating Drew on Sunday (his "real" birthday)!

What a fun-filled weekend of celebrating!
And phew, Ben and I need a nap. :)
