Soccer, birthday, and milkshakes...

This is the view from my bathroom most mornings as I am getting ready for work. :)
Luke started his first soccer season! He was so excited for his first "game", mostly because Ben is his coach and his buds Dylan and Ayrton are on the team too. :)
 Talking strategy.
 Pre-game warm ups.
 Such a cutie out there...
Ben coaching his players :)
A special shout out to my sister, Auntie Nae, on her birthday! Above she sent these shirts to the kiddos from some country??? I think maybe Burma?!
It is so hard to believe that our little Lukey turned 3 on May 6th. It seems like just yesterday I was waking up in the middle of the night with contractions and just a few hours later looked into that innocent, beautiful face for the first time. Everyday Luke surprises us with all of the new things he is observing about our world. For example, understanding that dinner is not in the morning but at night, to understanding that you must share your toys with Ellie and friends...but that on the soccer field it's good to just take the ball away from the other team, to thinking that Jesus must eat our food because it goes past our heart into our tummy, to saying, "What does Daddy doos?" (instead of do), and to thinking your 4th birthday party is after just a few naps. Happy 3rd Birthday Bub, we love you so much.
We had a "friend birthday" party for Luke this year! Ben took Luke to his soccer game on Saturday morning while Ellie and I took off to Rochester Play to setup for his birthday party. Ben and Luke, Ayrton's family, and Dylan and Ava's family came right from their soccer game to meet up with us and Ethan's family to celebrate. :) Mickey Mouse was the theme!

 Getting tattooed...

Singing Happy Birthday along with everyone else :)

The day worked out perfect! The weather was so nice outside that we were the only people in the whole joint...VIP party, that's how we Morin's roll :)

Ellie of course was a perfect angel and along for the ride....

She hung in there as long as she could but drifted off in Tim's arms...

Best buds all tuckered after a fun day of soccer and birthday...
AND on Monday we celebrated with just our families at our house with a taco bar and ice cream cake!
Luke placed his 3 candles :)
 Make a wish...
Luke you are so loved by so many....and stop growing up so fast!
Drinking milkshakes is a serious business around here! Carson and Luke enjoying it...

Watch how 2 coaches/dads run their first practice and the first order of business is picking a team name...
In case you were wondering they decided on the "Hulks". Luke has no clue who this is...
This footage will haunt Luke for a long time...but to me it's a treasure.
