Spring is HERE! Well, at least that's what the calendar says...BRRRRR!

Trying to enjoy this VERY chilly spring! We have gotten creative around here as old man winter keeps on truckin' through the mitten.
Painting at the counter...
We even built our own car wash! Luke's task was to take all of his cars through the wash. This was great entertainment that lasted about 45 minutes! (Bonus... I got dinner done!)
Family Reading Night at my elementary school! The kids always love a special trip to mommy' school. :)
Some of my 3rd grade kids spending time reading to my own kids. Loved how careful these 3rd graders were while reading to them.
Happy St. Patty's Day! This morning Lucky, our Leprechaun, stopped in for an early visit. Lucky was not planning on coming until Mr. Todd, Luke's preschool teacher, told him how Leprechauns bring you gold on St. Patrick's Day. Thank you Mr. Todd. So, cut yellow circle pieces of construction paper were left from Lucky that led to a bowl of frozen M&M's found from the back of the freezer. Oh, and he had a potty break leaving the bowl green!
But of course, Shamrock shakes for all! That is Mommy Leprechaun's way of celebrating. :)

My 33rd birthday and we had a great time! Ben surprised me with a staycation at a hotel night right down the road in Troy!!! I had my favorite dinner, filet with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Yummo! Then, off we went for swimming at the Mariott and a family movie night where we all fell in love with the movie Frozen.
Chocolate milk is always a hit. Well, milk in general really.

Off to the pool...
Ready for Frozen...
Boys in one bed and girls in the other!
Yes, the drama has begun. This sweet baby girl of mine has really gotten in touch with her emotional side this past month. We hear "no" and "don't want to" a lot right now. If we try and help her with anything she gets well, let's just say emotional. She is a do-it-herself gal right now.

Ellie Bean dancing to "Hot Dog" after Family Reading night...

So, Elle really loves doors. She loves to open them. Close them. Knock on them. Pretend to lock them with keys. Now that she's tall enough to reach she is all about doors. SO, guess what it was like when we got to our hotel hallway. Yep. Watch and enjoy.

This girl can read! This video was originally 9 min. 23 sec. long before I edited it.

Luke learned all about 911 and why to use it. I think he's got it.
Drum roll...our last dinner before leaving for Florida!!! Here Luke is telling me the plan.
Florida pics coming soon!
