Merry Christmas 2017!!

This Christmas Season we are filled with love and the reminder that all of our days are numbered. We celebrate the reason for Christmas, Jesus' birthday, and our hope in Him who promises an eternity with Him in Heaven forever.
On Saturday, we celebrated the life of Ben's Grandpa and enjoyed the first day of break with family.
Some of the beautiful flowers that brought a sense of life, growth, and beauty in our home during this time.
We were able to do a family serve that Friday night after work and school. Our besties, the Birkett family, served with us in the 2's room and we had a great time! It was fun for me as well to be back "in the saddle" in my old room at Kensington. It was great to see all of the familiar and friendly faces.
On Sunday, we attended the Christmas service together!
Below is a picture that needs no explanation and I will LOVE it FOREVER!!! Sometimes life can be like this. God never promises it to be easy but he does promise hope!
ANNNDDD, take 2!
Ben gave the boy quick haircuts to get camera ready for the festivities! :)
Elle and Luke played in the snow during Drew's nap.
Snow angels...
Goofiness...
And sledding! We have had SO much this now this winter! It was a white Christmas!
Elle taking my move. Everyone's favorite spot during this cold Christmas!
Hot cocoa for everyone.
Ben's tradition of " Twas the Night Before Christmas" before bedtime on Christmas Eve.
My heart.
Luke got in on the reading this year!
Getting ready for Santa...
Luke writing to Bob Thomas, our Elf, before he leaves for the North Pole for the year.
Haha, BT!
Reindeer food...

"The children were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads."
We found these two sleeping with their Santa hats on!
Luke woke up around 10:30 pm and didn't fall back asleep until 12:15 am! I laid with him and thank goodness for the elf busting his rump to get the rest of the gifts wrapped!
Christmas morning, and Santa arrived!

Move over Thomas the Train, PJ Masks is where it's at for this little man!

Ellie becomes, " OWLETTE!"
Santa brought Ellie her number 1 wish...An ice-cream maker!
We've got Catboy, Gekko, and Owlette!

Goldfish Swim lessons from Papa and Gma Cooley!
Luke and Ellie exchanged gifts from the Santa Shop at their Elementary school. They each had a certain amount to spend and by themselves they shopped for each person in our family. I LOVE to see what they chose for each person.
My favorite girl.
Luke's special gift from Santa...A new desk! AND he loved it. He also got an electric pencil sharpener and all sorts of desk supplies to organize and put together. This guy LOVES his desk!
A glimpse to remember the white Christmas we had this year!
This year, we had fun celebrating Christmas at Grandpa and Grandma Uitti's house!! We had a blast hanging out the with them and Auntie Megs and Uncle Chad!

Pretty ladies!
Uncle Chad and Auntie Meg surprised Luke with the entire A-Z Mystery series!! He has read all of them up to letter O already!!
Our family is beyond blessed!! Merry Christmas, everyone!
