67 B.B.T. (June and a few days in July Before Baseball Trip)

That evening, on the last day of school, Ben took the kiddos to go see Gma Uitti after recovering from her knee replacement that morning. Way to go Gma! You are recovering like a champ!!

While the kids and Ben were off to Ann Arbor, I was headed to Grand Rapids for the night to see my girls! Always, so much fun!
The next day, I met the family at Luke's baseball game and then together we celebrated our neighbor Julia and her graduation from high school! Way to go, Julia!
Earlier that morning Luke had tryouts for his first ever attempt at playing travel soccer. We weren't for sure about this whole travel things but Ben found a travel league that was flexible with him playing his other sports like baseball and basketball during the year AND practices are right next door to our house at the park. With the flexibility of those 2 things and of course, Luke wanting to play we thought we could at least try it out. The tryouts were going to maybe last Saturday and Sunday morning so we thought we were going to be hanging around home this weekend. However, Luke made the team that Saturday morning! WAHOO!!! SOOOO we were able to surprise Mom and Dad Cooley with a quick trip to go up and see them and to celebrate Father's Day the next day. After the open house we packed up our things and made our first ever trip ever to see Gpa and Gma Cooley at my Grandparents old house in Traverse City! We arrived late but we were up early the next morning to check out their brand-new jet skis too!
Nighttime stories in Ellie's new bedroom.
Happy Father's Day to the very best!! We love you Ben and Dad!
It was cold. It was rainy. But there was no stopping all of us from taking these bad boys out for a spin. We had East Bay all to ourselves, everyone had a turn at driving, and we had so much fun!

We had a cookout with our close neighbors to say goodbye to our sweet Miss Jan. Miss Jan lost her husband last year and had been planning to move since then. We are happy that she can move closer to he family but we are so sad to see her go! She became so close with our kiddos, especially Ellie. She would babysit for us and have the kids over to bake cookies and play, and would give Luke summer jobs around her house. In the picture, she has Ellie on her lap.
We stopped by for one last swing on her porch swing before she took it down...
Checkout Elle's Social Studies assignment that came home in her homework folder. She chose to go to the movies with Miss Jan. Such a sweetie.
Here are pics from the Lugnut's last Little League game of the season! The season went to late into June because of all the game makeup days. Our record wasn't great but we all had a lot of fun!
Ben coaching with Coach Cliff and Coach Brian...

Luke, you continue to grow in your skills and confidence. Congratulations on a great season!! Mom and Dad are so proud of you!

Celebrating our special guy again!! Daddy-O, we sure love you!
That week I buckled down at the Rochester Public Library to give PD at a local Literacy even in the Lake Orion School District. This was my first time presenting in almost 5 years! I had stopped once I had gotten preggers with Drew and haven't been back since my leave of absence.
Back at home, Drew was busy at work too!
That Friday morning we were able to get all of our kiddos together! Ally, Jackie, and Bailey are 3 of my besties from my time working at Kensington. Between all us, we are now at 11 kids and going strong! It is fun to see our them grow up together.
After the pool party, we headed up to Fenton for Jeff and Kim's rehearsal and rehearsal dinner.

The next day came quick and it was wedding time! Elle was so excited to be one of the flower girls in their wedding.
Aunt Jan and Stedman.
Ellie, you are beautiful.
My handsome cousin Jeff waiting for his bride.
The girls hustled around the house to be their for the beautiful bride, Kim.

The Cooleys always know how to party!

My heart.
With Papa!
With Auntie Nae!
Ellie looked at Kim like she was a real-life princess and she would refer to her as her bride. She would ask, "Where is my bride, Mama?" It was so precious! It was a beautiful wedding a fun couple of days hanging out with all my cousins and Cooley side!
That Sunday morning we headed back from the hotel to Luke's All-Star game! Each team in their League voted on 3 players to be sent to play in the RHLL All-Stars. Luke was one of the three voted by his teammates to represent his team!!
We even got a program at the game. (Is that what you even call it at a sporting event??) See Luke's name below!
Luke batting in the game...

The boys came away with the W!!
The Lugnuts have a tradition of running the bases after a win... So, off our boys go!

Way to go, boys!

After all of the fun and busy"ness" I found these 3 still in their jammies watching a show together tucked away in a corner. Some days, we all need a day.
Families that build together...
That weekend, Uncle B, Aunt Mol and the boys came to stay with us! Water guns, water balloons, lots of water and sports all day! We love getting the families together!!

The next morning, these 4 cuties were up and ready to help me make the pancakes...
Family game night...
Luke was at the counter coming up with categories and questions for a game of Jeopardy! He even got out this map place mat to help him create questions for the Capitals category.
Each night we have taken a turn putting together this very fancy and high tech Jeopardy board! Tonight was my turn to create the board and play Alex.
This was Ellie's turn!
Watching the 4th of July Fireworks here in Rochester! Here they do their Fireworks celebration at the end of June so that families aren't gone and traveling over the 4th so more people can make it. This year didn't disappoint!

If you look closely, you may see Gma and Papa Cooley with us!

Devin had gotten Luke a super sweet gift card to get Tiger's tickets so of course, Luke wanted to take him to a game! Here we are at a day game and guess who took 'em?? Yep. This mama and Devin's mom, Ally. It was my first time taking one of my kids to Detroit for an MLB game. I feel like I accomplished some sort of "cool mom" award for this. :)
They rode the Ferris Wheel by themselves!
Ally and I with our big boys. SOOO hot but so fun!
Harlow was in the house the next day!! How cute is she?!
We got to spend the day with this sweet gal!

A walk to the park...
 Harlow loves the swing!
