New J-O-B, Luke Turns 16....He drives!

I am excited to share the news that I accepted an elementary principal position starting in the Fall!
Ben and I went out to Morton's Steakhouse to celebrate!

Luke passed his driving test!
Our new license plate for the kids car ironically has FAM on it!

Luke also got inducted into SCHS's National Honor Society!
Luke "lighting" his candle after signing the doc.
Congratulations. Luke!
Luke's actual birthday was on a Wednesday this year. It was so weird and so awesome at the same time because he just hopped into his car and was ready to drive off BY HIMSELF on his way to school!
Even more special and weirder, was having Ellie drive off with him for the 1st time!

After school, they stopped at Tropical Cafe, Chipotle and then picked up Drew and headed to Dick's. Oh, the fun of just getting your license!
While at Dick's, they ran into Uncle C and Harlow! LOL.

Ellie loves her church youth group!!
After youth group, we were all home to celebrate LUKE turning 16!!! Happy, happy birthday Luke!! We love you so much! You are so full of love. You are a great friend to your buddies. You know what you like in life.

A goal I have for myself: Have a fun, healthy Junior year and explore new opportunities and meet new people and just be open to continuing the next step of life.

Luke dabbled in pitching this year!

At McGregor, they have a tradition that each year a 5th grader design is chosen to be created on a flag and hung in the cafeteria with the past flag designs. Luke and Elle's designs were both chosen for their years...Drew is trying to hard to make sure the trifecta happens!

Happy Mother's Day!!
No where else I'd rather be than watching my kids do what they love!! Drew had a great game and after a double he looked at me and said, " That's for you, Mom"
My heart. 💗

Feeling all the love from my favorites.
