Elle Marie Morin is SIX!!!!

This sweet gal, is our pride and joy!! Ellie Marie, sweet as can be, we love you and can't believe that you are turning SIX?! To celebrate her special day, we had her birthday party a little early because of our trip to the cottage. Harlow wanted in on the fun so she spent the day with us!
And what was Ben up to...With his work buddies on the boat...You still got it, babe!

Meanwhile, this ray of sunshine is all smiles!
And it's party time! This year Ellie wanted to celebrate with her friends and a Beauty and the Beast party!! Luke painted the sign for her special day!
Ellie with Lilah, Emily, Callie and Dana.
Emily's mom stayed and good thing because I needed her help! With Ben on the boat and Harlow in my arms, I was grateful to have an extra pair of hands. :)
The girls all made a canvas painting of the "magical rose" from the story.
And here are their finished products! The pedals falling on the sides are their little finger prints.
Happy 6th birthday, to our favorite/beautiful princess!!

Our sweet, smart, funny, strong girl...We LOVE you so very much!! YOU are "our BEST baby girl" and we are so very proud of you. My little peanut, the smallest of all my babes, is 6!!

Even though she is tiny in comparison, being in the middle of 2 brothers, she is tough! She has no fear of getting in the middle of a wrestling match, soccer game, or dog pile. She quietly joins in and then dominates cut throat style. There are times we are reminding her out of the 3 to be gentle, or not around the neck etc. Ellie has confidence and is not easily intimidated. When entering a new situation, she is quietly observing everything going on to understand the dynamic of the situation. Once she gets what is going on, then she joins in but she thrives on having that transition time. Ellie loves an adventure! She loves to go out and if you mention it, she is game. Ellie also loves to play with her friends and have play dates. She definitely loves being the gal in charge. Even with her brothers, no surprise here, it works out the smoothest when she's calling the shots and the boys follow along. They often play Mommy and 2 brothers or Mommy, Daddy, baby and either way...Mommy's calling it. Once Ellie has been out or with friends, she loves to have some play time by herself. She will get out her cars, carriage, little princesses and drive them all around the house. Ellie loves to read! Her favorite books are still princess books and Berenstein Bears. Her favorite color is now turquoise (big girl now!). She mastered her 2-wheeler bike at the end of last summer and so this summer she has been all about that bike! This girl and her transportation. Ellie is kind and thoughtful with her words. She will tell Ben and I how much she loves us and how special we are all the time. We will find little love notes to us and her brothers all around the house. She loves to cuddle and have her back rubbed. She loves to sing and dance around the house and really gets into these dance parties! Ellie, we love you to the moon!!!
Real-life princesses!
The girls showing their magical mirrors they colored!

Celebrating YOU, Elle!!

Could these big guys melt my heart anymore?? SO handsome. 😍
Forever taking picture of Ellie's writing because she blows me away with it!! This was a thank you she wrote to Lilah the next day after her party all by herself!
Ellie then headed to Lilah's birthday, so I took Devon (her older brother) and Luke to play bball at a park and then donuts at Timmy's afterwards! It works out so great when siblings of friends are the same age! A friend for everyone. :)
We had a special dinner with Gma U., her bestie Ms. Kathy, the Zelinski's, and our fam at Camp Ticonderoga!
One more trip to the Library to turn in the rest of our reading minutes before leaving for the cottage!
A "swim" in the tub with bath bombs from our besties Carson, Laney, and Evie!
And Ellie's official birthday!! Happy 6th, sweetheart!
And before we leave for the cottage, traditional birthday chocolate chip pancakes! Smack 6 morsels for this birthday beauty!
