The summer never disappoints!!

Papa and Gma C. came and stayed with us on their way back from D.C. and the weekend we got back from our baseball trip. We went out to eat at Camp Ticonderoga and had a lot of laughs. Papa was a good sport all the way through. Salmon color muscle shirt, with a polo collar, and a half-zipper. Hmmm?
This week Luke's baseball tourney for Rochester Hills continued! Our routine was meet Ben at work or at another halfway point and then drive to Commerce Township for his evening baseball game.
Here we are picking Ben up at work!
Friend Drew, Drew, and Ellie cheering on the team!
One night we waited out the rain delay about an hour and then they ended up calling it.
We had a double rainbow though!
We put our chairs in the back of the van, left the door up, and ate our dinner! All 3 of our kids were next door in Coach Brian's van watching a movie. :)
The game was rescheduled the next day and we didn't come away with the win this time which meant we were eliminated from the tournament. We had a lot of fun though, Luke loved it, and we cam in 3rd!
Luke is 2nd row, first on the left, with his shades on.
All of these busy nights, we gotta have a lazy morning!
Luke's 9-year well visit! 95% for height and 60% for weight. This kid is a beanpole!

That night we took off for Traverse City but first a stop in Lansing to meet up with our Lugnut team to watch the REAL Lansing Lugnuts! Remember in the original Mighty Ducks (one of my favorites!) when they go see the NHL ducks. This was a night just like that. The boys were SO excited and their energy was contagious to everyone!! It was so much fun to see Luke cheering, high-fiving random strangers, starting the wave for the stadium over and over again, and even making it on the jumbo-tron for the YMCA. It was WAY more fun than I anticipated! (Luke is wearing his jersey number 4.)

Going down to get the crowd going for the wave!

Going down again to get the wave going.

Meeting the players after the game. You would of thought these were like the best, Hall of Fame, players of all time by the excitement of our boys!
Showing off his autographs.

All of our crew.
We made it up to Traverse around 2 am! The next night we all had so much fun at North Peak Brewing Company! Drew finished his WHOLE sundae!
The next morning I met my banchie girls for breakfast in Cadilac. Shelly was in town for Italy so it was a MUST that we all drive to meet her, even if it's just for a few hours. My girls.
It was a stormy day so we ended up going to see Lion King at the movies. I laughed. I sang. I cried. Sooo, good!

The next day the Brangs came!! They were such troopers because they were supposed to come the day before but because of the storms they canceled. They were packed and had made it up to Cadilac where us girls were out for breakfast, then had to turn back, AND then drove up again the next day! We always have the best time together!
First up! Jet skis!!

Sweet, sweet Evie.
We tried fishing. Tried being the key word.

Cherry picking on great cousin Dean's farm!

Swimming at the beach!

These 4 friends. Luke and Carson are such buds and Ellie and Laney, well look at the pic. We are so lucky to have the best of friends!

I love this pic!
Just a couple of guys, sitting on the beach...

Drew was there too! He just didn't make the cut in the pics. :) Could summer look any better on these 2 families?!?!
Here is Drew! Washing dishes with Mom.
Back at home and these 2 are all about playing "married". I mean the dressing up, Ellie walking down the aisle, aka sidewalk, and ceremony on the porch. Oh, brother.

This was so cute! Drew has been all about helping his Daddy mow the lawn. When Ben would turn to do the next row, Drew would pick up his lawn mower and quickly run up behind him again to catch up. Haha!

 Ben's boat day!
We went to NC3 for the morning to see Roscoe the Clown!
 Luke acting like a monkey!
Elle holding all of the balloons. We love this preschool so, SO much! All of the kids were so excited to see Drew! He is down on the right with a red hat on with his buds.
