The calm before the storm...Life as we knew it.

Luke has topped out at Goldfish Swim! He successfully completed each level and is now guaranteed a spot on the Goldfish Swim Team! Wahoo!! Congrats, Luke! We remember when you were just a little champ blowing bubbles under the water and practicing swim safety. So proud of you, kiddo!!

Elle got her new winter boots for next year from our gal pal Victoria!! It's a perk when your college buddy now works for Ugg. :)
These 2 besties....Drew and Marissa are besties at NC3 and had a blast celebrating her birthday at Chuck E. Cheese.

Aunt Cathy and Gigi took the kids to a play at Meadow Brook to see Rosie Revere Engineer!

Speaking of plays and performances...This guys is all about Zazu in the McGregor performance of Lion King! Luke was able to get in one dress rehearsal to try on this AMAZING costume that our friend Sara made for him!

My sweet girl. She still sleeps with her Baby Girl each night and now Sam too. She loves being a "mommy" to her stuffies.
Well, little did we know it....but this was the last ball game of the year and we are so thankful Gma and Papa Uitti, Aunt Cathy, and Gigi could come out for the day!
Luke had an awesome season. He averaged 14.8 points a game! (Ben's calculation 😎) He's a natural out there and leads the team up and down the court. Their team ended up on top in their division. Who knows, he may just be a basketball guy. This kiddo keeps us guessing!

Ellie had a great season as well! Her high game was 10 POINTS!!! This girl is super coordinated and will dribble up and down the court with both hands. Ellie LOVED playing and plays hard while high-fiving all of her teammates. We are so proud of you, Elle!!
Aunt Cathy got a few shots of Luke scoring. Thanks, AC!
The next day I went out to get groceries and this is when I noticed that our lives were starting to change. This is what I found in the aisles of Meijer.
Below is a collection of pictures of Drew at his preschool. We LOVE NC3 so much and have seen all 3 of our kiddos grow and blossom there. However, with the coronavirus it doesn't look like Drew will be going back to finish the year. We are so lucky NC3 has been part of our lives.

On Tuesday, we voted in the Primary.
Ellie had her piano lesson with her teacher Miss Rebecca. Ellie passed her piano test!
My last day at my school...This is our elementary admin. team learning about conferring. I'm posting this to remember how things were.
Inside my office where the PTO was circulating the school passing out hand sanitizer to our staff.
Reading in front of the fire, going to sleep...
Little did we know this would be our last "normal" for a bit.
