"Elle's Team" Ellie's 9th Birthday Party Part 1

Loving some Summer days spent at home!
Ellie loves to create Jeopardy games for the family to play. She has used the trifold poster but after learning about Google Slides this year, she has evolved her game too!
Just lunch at home, at the counter. Love the slow days too.
Ben playing ball with Drew.
Listen to this sweet voice 💜
Rochester hosted this baseball night at the park called Playball. Of course, we were there!
Luke spent most of the night at the batting cage.
Ellie on 1st!
Our buddies Kayla and Caleb came too!
We had another toruney the next weekend in Howell. We were able to stay with Papa and Gma Uitti and Carter came and stayed with us too. Here Papa and Ben took on Luke and Carter!
Ellie and I came back a day early because we got to throw Janae and Freddy a wedding shower over Zoom! It was so special connecting with family, some I haven't seen in years, and celebrating the happy couple! We are so excited for you Janae and Freddy!!
The next day, we were off to the Detroit Zoo.

We just took our time and I had so much fun having our 3 kids for the day without any distractions.
Ben and I celebrated 15 years!! Happy Anniversary, babe. I love you. Elle made this sweet sign for us.

A 2nd big celebration...Luke had his final leg appt. with UofM. We had the x-rays the week before and sent them in so we could do the final visit remotely. Good News!! Luke's leg is completely healed and he got the green light to go ahead with ALL activities...Everything! Even sliding into bases. We are so grateful that his leg is healed. However, we know that everything will take time to get him back to where he was.

Another big celebration...Happy birthday, Ellie!!!! We had Ellie's friend  birthday a week early because we'll be in TC on her actual birthday. We had so much fun celebrating her! She wanted a soccer birthday party and a cool fun fact is this was also her 1st day of travel soccer!! She and Luke both had soccer conditioning earlier that morning.
The girls had so much fun just talking, playing soccer in the backyard, and hanging out. In order below, Zaydee, Kayla, Katie, Ellie, Riley, Teresa, and Lilah.
Ellie wrote each of them a letter in their journals we got for them. Ellie, you are just so thoughtful.
Hot fudge brownie sundae was what wanted Ellie wanted for her birthday dessert!
Luke made this sweet poster for our birthday girl. 💜

We had the BEST time celebrating YOU, Ellie!!! You are an absolute gift and we love you so much!!

The parents stayed to hangout when they all arrived and basketball went late into the night :)
Drew was so excited to get this package in the mail from Auntie Nae! He kept saying it was his first package he has ever gotten for no reason at all.
The next day, Luke's team was off to their last summer tournament of the year. The tournament was at Kalahari in Sandusky, OH and with the our schedules we decided to stay back and let Luke go by himself! He drove down with Coach Ryan and Chase and stayed with the team, coaches and some dad's in the team villa. To say the least...Luke had a BLAST. It was a pretty big deal for us to let him go by himself for 3 nights and 4 days but he had the best time! In between baseball, the boys played all of the volleyball, video games, pool, putt-putt, and of course, the huge waterpark that they could possibly fit it. When Luke got home, he fell asleep in the brown chair talking to me and didn't wake up until we left for TC a few hours later after him arriving home. Here are a few pics that were sent to us...
