Better Safe Than Sorry...

Our little Lukie had a fever of 101 degrees. The pediatrician on-call (it was a Sunday) told us that we had to take him into the hospital to get him checked out just to be safe. Any infant under the age of 3 months who has a fever (unrelated to their vaccinations) has to be emitted into the hospital for various tests just to make sure their little bodies are ok. We were all praying very hard during his stay and thankfully we can report our little boy is one healthy baby! All of the tests came back negative and the doctors figured he had just picked up a little viral infection. We are so blessed to have walked out of the hospital with the reassurance that he was doing just fine. The next time you visit a little person...make sure to wash your hands!!!

One of Luke's very favorite books ( from Mrs. Zimmerman)! He kicks his feet and waves his arms (in this case his paddle arm, poor baby) because he's so excited.
We love you Luke!
All of the nurses just adored Luke! They were wonderful and took such good care of all of us. I thank God for all of the nurses out there. You all truly have a heart of GOLD.
