This year Luke asked for a Diary of a Wimpy Kid birthday party!! SOOOO....A Diary partay this special kid gets!!

Elle surprised Luke with the Diary of a Wimpy Kid poster...So great!

We started the party with a reading from Luke from the 1st Diary book. When Ben was reading the book for the first time and read this part...He couldn't stop laughing so we all died laughing! It says something like, " The teachers didn't want us to know who was in the high reading group and who was in the low reading group. But then when I saw the covers it was pretty easy to tell. One group was in Einstein as a Child group and the other group was called Bink Says Boo.

First game was a DOAWK Word Search competition. We were all in pairs and whoever found the most words in 5 minutes, won! Ben and Luke won!! Uncle Tom and Drew found numerous snap words and neither one of them realized they were supposed to be finding the words in the word bank... And in Aunt Cathy's words, " This is why we don't play many games." Haha!!
Below are the Word Search teams:

Happy birthday, Luke!!! Woot! Woot!!

The next game was DOAWK Pictionary!

Checkout Gma's pic below...It was so good!

And then opening her gift!
Luke, we love you so, so much!! The world is at your fingertips. My wish for you is to keep using your voice and strength to make our world a kinder and gentler place. AND remember you are always, always loved. Nothing you do will ever change how much you are loved. Live in that freedom, kiddo!!
Even though a week late...Our traditional birthday pancakes with 11 on it. 💗
